Things Happening in May on I-Drive

There is something fun to do every day during the month of May on I-Drive! With everything from festivals, to trivia nights, beautiful brunches and so much more – our calendar this month is full of opportunities to have a great time with your friends and family! No really, it is.. Fun Spot! Known for their roller coasters, kart tracks, arcade games and Gator Spot, Fun Spot America has even more to offer you during your visit this month!

 

On May 25th their Wine and Food Blues Festival will be going on from 4pm to 9pm. Pick up your wine lanyard and get ready to be exposed to delicious cuisine from 10 food trucks, as well as live entertainment throughout the entire event. Dishes from over 5 of the best food trucks, and 5 wine samples are included with the purchase of your ticket...so if you love good food and delicious wine, this event is one you attend! Gather up your friends and family and get ready to enjoy the sights, sounds, and your favorite Sesame Street friends as you travel through SeaWorld’s picturesque pathways and through the iconic Sesame Street neighborhood during the Furry Friends Fun Run at Sesame Street in Orlando, FL! This inaugural event takes place on May 11 and is a family-friendly fun run that benefits the Sesame Street Yellow Feather Fund that helps kids everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder through critical early education, social impact programs, and of course copious amounts of fun!

 

Participants under 7 years old get to run for free at the Free Kid’s run, and some of the things that are included for all participants are a finish line festival with food and refreshments, a commemorative Furry Friends Fun Run Race T-Shirt, an inaugural Sesame Street themed finisher’s medal, and 30% off single-day SeaWorld tickets for participants valid from May 11th to the 23rd!

 

So, get your running shoes on, and come out to take part in this family fun activity that supports a great cause while having a blast!

 

 

 

MegaCon is a place to celebrate all things pop culture, and is the Southeast’s largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming event, attracting over 100,000 fans each year for 4 days of non-stop fun!

 

While at the event you can get an autograph (or a few) with your favorite guests and get the inside scoop about your favorite movies and TV Shows by a celebrity panel! Sketch duos, “how to” workshops, costumed characters, and pick up some unique gifts that you’re sure to treasure for years to come in over 400,000 square feet of shopping madness! This event takes place at the Orange County Convention Center from May 16th through the 19th, so be sure to get the details and plan to attend this beloved event.

 

 

 

Are you a die-hard fan of the fantasy drama T.V. series, “Game of Thrones”? If so, you’ll appreciate IceBar’s month long, “It is Here” celebration to commemorate the finale of this popular series!
