Skeletons!
Ever wondered what law enforcement, doctors and anthropologists
can learn by examining human skeletons using Forensic Osteology?
Through hands-on activities at
Skeletons Halloween Forensics, you’ll learn
to "read" the features of a human skull to determine: age, sex,
physical trauma and/or illness. Ending with the ultimate test, determining what
happened and whether it was accidental or a murder.
The event will be
happening on October 26th, with two separate event times; one for teens and one
for adults. To be a part of Halloween Jr. Forensics, get to Skeletons for 1pm,
and if you’re an adult plan to arrive by 5pm.
Please note that the activities in both the teen and adult
events involve replica human skulls cast from real trauma cases and personal
discretion is advised.
This Halloween Forensics Night includes Halloween sweets &
treats and costumes are encouraged! So, come out and learn something new in the
spirit of Halloween.
